Event Details

Join us in-store on Thursday, March 26 at 7 PM for our Community Care: Clothing Swap and Mending Circle night! Hosted in collaboration with Threading Change, Noble Cashmere Co., and Denise Agassini. The event will consist of two parts— a pre-loved clothing swap and then the mending circle with experts.

To set a cozy mood, we’ll be serving hot chocolate from Carbon Snack Bar, rich, warm, and perfect for the season.

Clothing Swap Guidelines:

You can bring in your gently worn, clean clothing in good condition from March 16th to March 20th. Each accepted item earns you 1 ticket (maximum 5 tickets), which you can use to shop the pre-loved clothing rack at the event.

Please leave underwear, wetsuits, socks, hats, and other personal garments at home.

Acceptable Items: (Any brand)

· Gently used and previously loved clothing (tees, sweaters, jackets, pants, etc.).

Items We Will Not Accept

· Next to skin items such as underwear, base layers, swimsuits, etc.

· Anything with large tears, heavy pilling, significant discoloration or garments that need to be repaired by a professional tailor.

· Hard goods such as shoes, jewellery, packs, bags, hats, eyewear and sports gear.

Mending Circle Guidelines:

 · You can bring in any garment that needs mending but it must be freshly laundered.  This is out of respect for our experts. They may have to handle your clothing to show you a mending technique.

· We are using hand stitching and darning techniques. We ask that the items you bring in to mend do not require a sewing machine.

More information to come soon.
